Victor Sarasqueta made the best quality guns, very reliable and considered by some to be the best Spanish shotguns. The top grades like the 12E cost roughly 3 times as much, depending on condition of course, and will have very fancy wood and elaborate engraving. The 6E is a somewhat higher grade than the 203E. I'm not sure what the EXP means except the importer may have thought that E stood for Express. On VS shotguns a plain model number indicate extractors, a number with an E, like 203E, indicates auto ejectors. If you aren't shooting thousands of shells then a light weight is OK. I'm not sure what the weight ranges are and it does vary with length but 1600 grams is heavy and 1200 pretty light for a 12 ga. The Spanish made shotguns in several weights depending on the type of shooting, heavy for trap, to light for upland rough shooting. ![]() The grm, gmos or grams is the barrel weight. (I bought a 5 pin sidelock because it uses coil, not leaf springs and is much more easily repaired) They look like 7 pin sidelocks, considered the "best" action. ![]()
